Meet the Team: Sam Michie
A big part of his Sam’s role is communicating and supporting our clients throughout their customer journey at Intellicore.
What is your role within the company?
I’m a Client Advocate. This role involves being the voice for the client within Intellicore. I will be communicating with and supporting our clients from our initial contact with them and right through the entire customer journey, helping to bridge the gap between them and our developers. I also support our BA manager in the business analysis stage to capture customer requirements and help translate these to our developers.
What do you like most about working for Intellicore?
Being part of a close-knit, dedicated team is great. Everyone plays their part, and it allows you to really feel like you’re contributing towards the company’s goals.
What first attracted you to your area of expertise?
Probably a mix of my time at university and my previous part-time jobs. My Business IT degree really started my passion for technology, and my previous part-time jobs focused on customer service, which I really enjoyed.
What are the values that drive you?

What is a key challenge that your customers face that you want to solve/have helped to solve?
Many customers will have technical issues or queries with their systems and turn to us for help, however the customers themselves may not be technical minded. It is my job, therefore, to work with our developers to solve the problem and then translate this into a non-technical language that the customer can easily follow and understand.
What is the most exciting part of your job?
Getting to work on a range of different projects for clients in various industries provides great variation and means every day presents a new/different challenge to tackle.
Outside of work, what are you passionate about?
I love trying new foods, trying new craft beers, and also listening to music.
What’s something about you that not a lot of people know?
The first job I ever wanted to do was be a school teacher.

What are your hobbies/what do you do on the weekends?
Meeting up with friends at the pub, going out for food, watching football, watching tv series.
