Sonja is a Data Coordinator and specialises in turning ideas into plans for our customers.

What is your role within the company?

I am a Data Coordinator. I was hired to organise the proposal and project starting processes within the company. I specialise in turning ideas into plans. My role is flexible, and as I acquire more skills, my responsibilities will change and evolve with me.

What do you like most about working for Intellicore?

I like having the freedom to work at my own pace and create my own processes and systems for getting things done.

What first attracted you to your area of expertise?

During my teenage years, I developed an interest in programming as a hobby. After completing school, I studied and pursued a career in Graphic Design. While working in a print house, I discovered my affinity for creating websites and digital solutions for my freelance clients. This led me to develop a love for UI/UX design. Collaborating with my husband, who is a software developer, solidified my desire to be more involved in this field.

What are the values that drive you?

I value creating visual representations, such as mock-ups, prototypes, and flowcharts, to effectively convey ideas and processes. I strive to go beyond words and provide comprehensive understanding through a combination of visual and written elements.

What is a key challenge that your customers face that you want to solve/have helped to solve?

Our customers often face difficulty articulating their ideas and translating them into actionable proposals. As a Data Co-ordinator, my role involves helping customers to understand the possibilities and potential solutions available to them. I will work closely with them to gather requirements, clarify objectives, and develop comprehensive proposals that outline the functionalities and benefits of their desired projects. I will use the transferable skills I learned as a graphic designer to work with our customers to overcome this challenge and transform their ideas into practical and effective initiatives.

What is the most exciting part of your job?

The most exciting part of my job is witnessing the transformation of ideas into tangible plans and solutions. It's incredibly fulfilling to see a customer’s vision come to life as we collaborate, plan, and execute projects together. From the initial stages of brainstorming and conceptualisation to the final implementation and delivery, being a part of the entire process and witnessing the transformation of ideas into functional proposals, gives a great sense of fulfilment and excitement to my role.

Outside of work, what are you passionate about?

Outside of work, I am passionate about cataloguing and organising not only ideas and knowledge but also physical objects. It brings me great satisfaction to create systems that efficiently categorise and arrange items, ensuring easy access and a sense of order. Whether it's curating a collection, arranging books on shelves, or structuring digital databases, I find joy in the meticulous process of organising and maintaining both tangible objects and intangible knowledge. It's a harmonious blend of creativity and practicality that resonates with my passion for structured organisation.

What’s something about you that not a lot of people know?

One interesting fact about me is that I am ambidextrous, meaning I can write, draw, and perform most daily tasks with both my right and left hands.

Describe yourself in three words?

Creative, Organised, Versatile.

What are your hobbies/ what do you do on the weekends?

I engage in several hobbies in my spare time. I enjoy playing PC games with my friends and husband. I also have a fascination with building and programming custom keyboards and tinkering with electronics. Additionally, I create both traditional and digital art, and I am currently learning to play the bass guitar. I indulge in activities like crochet, knitting, and sewing. Building furniture and woodworking are also among my interests. Lastly, I find solace in sitting in the park and enjoying a good book.
